Hello 안녕하세요 ! I am Vaibhavi from India. What you are going to learn in this lesson is one of the core grammar concept in Korean. Let's start 시작하자. While learning Korean you should always remember these important facts about Korean adjectives and verbs. 1. First of all verbs as well as adjectives end with the syllable ‘다’. Example: 배우다 = to learn 오다 = to come 슬프다 = to be sad 2. Secondly, All sentences in Korean must end with either a verb or adjective. In case, if a sentence has both a verb and an adjective. The adjective is placed in the same position as in English that is before the noun. Let's look at an example: I want a big house. In Korean, the sentence will be 'I a big house want'. 나는 (크다) 집을 원한다. Now, just substituting the word 크다 (big) doesn't mean that this sentence is correct. Why is that so? Now, Remember the first rule I mentioned above 'All verbs as well as adjectives end with the syllable 다'. Well this form of verb/adjective is actually the dictionary form and is rarely used in spoken Korean. Every verb/adjective is made up of two parts 1.Stem and 2. 다 Here are some examples: 좋다 = 좋 (stem) + 다 길다 = 길 (stem) + 다 When you deal with verb/adjective basically you remove the 다 and add something else to the stem. For example : 길다 (long) when conjugated in present form is 길어요. If you are beginner, don't worry we will cover conjugation in another lesson. Now, When you want to make an adjective that can describe a noun you must eliminate ‘~다’ and add ~ㄴ or ~은 to the stem of the adjective. Words in which the last syllable of the stem ends in a vowel you add ~ㄴ to the last syllable. Words in which the last syllable of the stem ends in a consonant you add ~은 to the stem. Here are some examples: 작다 - Word 작 - Stem 작은 - Adjective Form 작은 남자 - Small man Now when you use Adjective to describe noun as in: 비싼 음식 expensive food 작은 집 small house 뚱뚱한 학생을 fat student; Here these are not sentences they need other phrases to complete them such as: 나는 뚱뚱한 학생을 만나요 = I meet a fat student The verb “to meet” predicates this sentence. 나는 잘생긴 남자를 만나요 = I meet a handsome man The verb “to meet” predicates this sentence. 나는 작은 집에 가요 = I go to the small house The verb “to go” predicates this sentence. I hope this lesson was helpful. This pattern might seem a little confusing if you're a beginner. But, Remember 연습이 완벽을 만든다 (Practice makes perfect).

As we have pointed out link a couple of times, the blue Omega Seamaster Diver 300m – the original Bond Seamaster – is a personal favorite of President Biden and can be seen on his wrist often throughout his duties as President. In fact, if you look closely at the video clips from his episode of the podcast, you can just barely see that Biden link is also wearing his link Seamaster. A truly cool moment in the intersection of watches, politics, and popular culture.
